I imagine many of you have seen these images from Spring / Summer 2011 shows, but while browsing through my favorite saved pics I was inspired by the broad spectrum of evening wear presented by designers. These looks are from the J Mendel, Marchesa, Zac Posen and Alexander Mcqueen collections; illustrating the many facets of gowns...from ethereal, airy and fluid like to bold, dramatic and sultry.
I'd like to say "THANK YOU" to Sylvia from California Candy for the fantastic Hot Trend giveaway and yours truly was the very lucky winner! Many thanks Sylvia and I can't wait to sport the amazing snake ring. For those of you aren't already followers of Sylvia's site, she's an incredibly stylish California gal and her blog California Candy is definitely worth checking out!
Hope everyone is having a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday!

Some of my girlfriends and I were lamenting the fact that we don't have enough occasions to get really dressed up in our lives. I'd love to throw an amazing soiree where I could wear a gown like this. A girl can dream, right? That first dress in the nude colored chiffon is amazing. It's so sexy.
I want all of them, so cute

My oversized sweater is actually longer than it appears on my 'outfit of the day':) I tucked it in.. so it looks like it's just a sweater.. its kind of a dress: http://cyliaaaa.blogspot.com/2010/09/outfit-of-day_25.html
