Masquerade, à la Vogue Paris

French Vogue celebrated its 90th Anniversary last week by hosting a decadent masquerade fête held at the Hotel Pozzo di Borgo in Paris, France. The grand affair was attended by some of the most high profile and influential figures in the fashion scene. Supermodels, celebrities and designers alike wore masks inspired by the Eyes Wide Shut theme; some more disguised than others. The event was glamourous, provocative and dramatic...true to French Vogue form. Image Source: Wireimage, Wenn, Vogue Paris Oct 2010

I am so jealous... words can't explain just how jealous I am of those people who attended this ball!
My favourite look is the one with the white dress and huge white fan headpiece. Gorgeous!

I attended the ball - it was afeast for the eyes but I must confess that I was somewhat disappointed re. the Masks.
Had this been in the Caribbean, the masks would have been fiercer and more flamboyant;-)
